Chapter 6: The SID 3.1 Main Menu
This shows you what functions are available in the SID 3.1 package. Here’s a rundown on some of the features available to you.
Backup / Restore Features: This allows you to back up your C Drive and your Eeprom. It also can restore your C Drive backup if something fails.
Install Softmod: This is where you have the option to install either NKpatcher 10 or PBL on your Xbox. Single and Dual boot options are available.
Install EvoX / UnleashX Dashboard: This is where you can install a dashboard to use. Please note that PBL users can not install to C Drive using the SID Package due to size limitations of the memory card.
Patch MS Dash: After you have your C Drive set up and ready to go, use this option to integrate the MS Dash and Softmod together. This will only work is MS Dash 1.00.5960.01 is your MS Backup.
Remove Softmod: This feature will format C Drive again and copy over your MS Backup. When you reboot your Xbox will be unmodded again.
Settings: These settings are for the UnleashX Dashboard (the program that SID is running on). You can adjust your network settings if need be and also check other information about your Xbox.
Saves Manager: This shows the Gamesaves that are on your Xbox, and also your memory cards. You have full copy / delete capabilities here.
File Manager: This shows the drives on your Xbox (C, E, and F+G on larger hdds), the DVD Drive, and your Memory Cards. You can copy, move, delete, edit, even use zip functions (zipping and unzipping files).
